Keith's Biography
Biography:
Man Without Band (one-man band) was born, out of necessity, in the year 2000, but I have been performing live with bands and in studios in Europe and America since 1984. The next paragraphs are a short journal of what I have done since that time.
1984-1986
Cover band “Ground Zero” – Studio Demo, played the American military circuit and clubs in Germany - also city festivals, the largest being the Deutch-Amerikansche Freundschafts Festival.
1986-1987
Original band “Major Agents” – Studio Demo made in the USA with singer Jeffrey Wayne (recording artist from Nashville). No live shows, because I had to return to Europe due to my family.
1988-1990
Cover Band “Richard Head Band”- Military club band, opened for “Bon Jovi” once unfortunately without me.
Original band “Big Jay McNeeley”- I played guitar on tour with Big Jay, (20 shows in one month) and had the honor to play on stage with “Champion Jack Dupree”.
1991-1993
Original Band “Souls at Zero” – Studio Demo, played various clubs and open airs on the northern east coast of the USA. We reached the semi-finals of a tri-state “battle of the bands” PA, MD & NJ. I also played as the supporting guitarist for “Bo Diddley.”
1994-1999
Various Cover Bands – In this time, I played in a couple of cover projects (bands and duos). Close to the end of this period, I decided to start writing and playing my own music again. In 2000, I started to play alone, because of the lack of serious musicians in my area. Since that time, I have been performing (covers & originals) as a “one man band.”
Incidentally, I wrote all of the music in the “original bands,” with the exception of Big Jay Mcneeley, of course. I feel that my strong point is the composition of songs.
2000
One Man Band – “Man Without Band” – From 2000 until the present, I’ve been playing as an “alleinunterhalter” in various cities in Germany and sometimes Holland or Belgium, mostly in Irish pubs, but also weddings, small fests and things of that nature.
Recently...
Recently, I have released my first original CD entitled “Listen – don’t just hear,” which consequently has led me in the direction of production.
That’s it! Smile! (lol)
